To build a network is difficult.

These will make it a lot easier.

1. Follow first

Following a potential connection shows that we're interested in what he/she has to say.

2. Write comments

We can make ourselves known by writing comments on their posts. It gives them a chance to understand us too.

3. "Like" a post

A "like" improves the author's post-reach. If you enjoyed it, why not giving it a "like"? It'll make them happy.

4. Use other emotes

Standout from the rest. Use the celebrate, love or support emojis. Be wary of the curious emoji though.

5. Share the post

It takes extra effort to share a post. By sharing, the author will spot us if we do so.

6. Add a note

Don't main connect je. By adding an introduction gives it a personal touch. Also improves the chances of a successful connection.

7. Checkout profiles

When we visit a profile page, it notifies the person that we're the "stalker". Who knows? You might receive a connection request instead.

8. Turn on the activity feed

The other party may wanna see if we're "sexy" enough. If our activity feed is interesting, they will connect with us.

A small network reduces our chance to be noticed. Having a healthy number in our network is the key to survival on LinkedIn
