RM200/month for LinkedIn Premium.

Would you use it?

Recently, Dr Alan, the boss of DOBBS, a large private group for medical doctors in Malaysia, ajak me to speak on LinkedIn.

We talked about the premium service. I used it before. Then, I stopped as my kocek was bleeding.

The benefits:

1. LinkedIn Learning

I miss this feature since I stopped. There are many excellent courses on it. I learnt a couple of new skills (branding and marketing) from it too.

2. Who Viewed Me

We can check who viewed our profile. The free one only allows us to see a few. In premium, we can see everyone. It's nice to know who "stalked" us but not a necessity. Then again, if know also syok, kan?

3. InMail

In simple terms, it just means DM/PM. We can message someone without being connected. In general, we can message our first-degree connections only. I hardly use this feature. People hardly layan us also if they don't know us.

4. LinkedIn Gold Icon

It makes us somewhat "special". It helped me connect to others easily. Not a must. However, it made life a lot easier. It's heavy on the pocket though.

I'll use it again if the price reduces from $50 to RM50. Until then, I'll mimpi on first.

Would you use it?
