Stories are Powerful Tools

I write stories.

But, origin ones only.

What are those?

"With great power comes great responsibility". Spiderman's origin story. It tells about how Peter Parker lost his beloved Uncle Ben.

Tony Stark, a billionaire who almost died with a piece of shrapnel lodged near his heart. Saved by a professor in prison and he became Ironman.

Captain America a.k.a Steve Rogers was a frail young man then. Was enhanced by an experimental serum because of his strong passion to serve his country.

I remember these stories vividly. Effortlessly.

This is because these are stories that describe a character. Of how they became who they are today.

Stories are very powerful. Especially when they are told in a specific manner.

I share stories of who I am:
▪ Past experiences
▪ Hurdles and difficulties faced
▪ Work-related blunders
▪ Life journey

Indirectly, people will know who I am. Without making any effort to do so.

Apart from that, it allows me to connect with others better. We have different lives to lead. But, some parts of our lives do intersect.

Many have reached out to me. Be it for a friendly chat. Or to get a piece of advice. Some even share their personal stories with me too. It's definitely a great sign that I'm in the right direction.

What's your origin story?
