Writing on LinkedIn is a chore.
But, I still write.
For these five (5) benefits.
For all the random stuff I wrote, I get leads for project. I've never promoted myself in any way so this one memang cun.
Some projects were so big (I'm honoured), I had to refer it to someone else to do it. Bye-bye money.
Some reached out to work together. Copywriters, social media teams, graphic designers, etc. Definitely a plus.
More fishies to catch mah, no?
Surprisingly, I made many friends through LinkedIn. Young and senior ones alike.
Gives me a chance to talk to different types of professionals.
I get job offers too. I'm not even looking for one. Don't know why.
Perhaps, my posts sounded so "kesian" recruiters pitied me. One thing for sure, my posts caught their attention.
Any exposure is always good tanpa kebogelan. People kinda "know" me before they even meet me. It's definitely easier to break the ice.
Very useful when I meet potential clients.
That said, writing a post these days isn't as easy as last time. I'm taking hours to get one up. Getting ideas is one. Writing to which type of audience is another.
Tapi, tulis tetap tulis.
Because you never know what you'll get.
How about you?
