Today, let's talk about the headlines and get your much-needed views. I have a few tricks I use regularly.
Seven (7) to be exact.
We're all attracted to numbers.
Gaji, sales, discounts, scores, etc. Use them when there is a chance.
It works when a headline is short.
Our attention span can fight with a goldfish already. 8 seconds only.
Hashtag (#), percent (%), plus (+), alias (@), etc.
They just catch our attention.
The "con artist" is up there for a reason. We hate suspense. Must know now wan.
That's why you end up reading this.
I didn't use it for this post.
But, we can also end a headline with a question. As readers right, we'll want more.
Don't use them lah. Use simple language.
So easy that a pre-schooler can understand.
I can't con one forever. There has to be value in a post. Even if one clicks on my post for the first time, may not the second time.
Make sure it has value, so people are willing to be conned (subconsciously). That's because they know they're in for a treat.
