Getting More Connections

Want to get connections?

Tap "connect" only.

I wish it was that easy.

Susah tau, to get connections. I started LinkedIn early this year. So few in my network, hardly anyone saw my posts.

Desperate, I sent request randomly. The results were so, duh. Who wants to connect with me? I'm nobody leh.

I changed tactic. Jadi woh. I've been using it since then. But, a lot of work lah. Not easy.

1. Commenting

As a lalat, I buzzed around others. Dropped comments here and there. Some connected with me. While others, I waited for a reply.

I reached out once they did. It worked like a charm.

2. Writing

While I grew my network, I wrote regularly.

I went through each profile who "liked" my post and connected with them. The success rate was way better.

3. Adding a Note

This increases the success rate.

To get an engagement ain't easy. Don't wanna waste it.

To everyone I reached out to, I'll add a personalized note. I start it off with "Hi (first name),". But, I made sure I didn't call the dad lah. Otherwise, malu je.

4. Viewing Profiles

I connected with those who viewed my profile. Similarly, others would also do the same.

Just by viewing a profile, the other person may just want to connect with you if you've got a seductive face.

Connect, can. Gotta work for it only.

Any tips to add?
