Jual Buntot for Money

To get a deal.

Would you sell your soul?

I would.

In a million years.

I was expected to do certain things before I close a deal at times. To get a client's trust, we may be "forced" to do things we don't normally do. Smoke, vape, minum arak, suck-up to "no-logic" demands, etc.

Some cash-rich clients believe they are superior to others and make condescending remarks such as:

"I give you this opportunity..."

Hello. No deal. As desperate as I want one, I can't trade my soul for it. It ain't Dark Souls.

Some may disagree. It's just a one-night stand. No obligations. Throwing away a deal just ain't worth it. There is a lot of money on the table.

To be honest, I did throw them away. As much as it pains me to do so. And it pains me even greater that someone else would take it up and go through with it because they don't have other options.

As some of you may know, I avoid relying on a single source of income. Hence, it allows me to select my clients carefully for my team to work with.

The trust needs to exist between both parties.

It's not just about the money. The stress and headaches that come along just ain't worth it.

I'm here to provide a service. Not to be a kuli. No one should be treated like that.

So, I ain't gonna jual buntot for money.

Would you?
